1. Printing effect control

General four-color water-based inks have no disadvantages such as bright light, ash falling, and low density. It can be used in the inner printing to achieve the advantages of clear text, complete dots, strong color development, and clear layers.

2. Appropriate shallow version

The four-color water-based ink has Newtonian fluid rheological characteristics, which is more than 15% larger than that of the solvent-based ink; the four-color water-based ink has a high solid content, and the thickness of the dry ink film in the same area can be thinner. Compared with ordinary ink and wash, it can achieve the purpose of saving ink.

3. Use defoamer

Since the four-color water-based ink is alkaline, it is easier to produce bubbles during the printing process, which affects the quality of the print. You can add about 0.1% of defoamer to adjust.

4. Drying temperature control

The four-color water-based ink printing process will occur, and it is equipped with reactive drying. The resolubility of the dried ink film is worse than that of the solvent-based ink. Therefore, the air temperature control is very important, and the air temperature has a certain influence on the drying speed of the printing. If the temperature is too low, the surface layer of the ink is dry, but the interior is not dry, and anti-stickiness occurs during color registration; if the temperature is too high, the ink dries too fast, and the dry ink can no longer be dissolved in water, making it difficult to clean.

5. Cannot be mixed

Four-color water-based inks cannot be mixed with other solvent-based inks, otherwise it will easily affect the print quality.

6. PH value control

Since the volatilization of the four-color ink during printing causes the pH to change, corresponding additives can be added during the printing process to adjust.
