The Effect Of Sublimation Transfer Paper Is Comparable To Printing

1. The cushion material (cotton cloth, sponge, cardboard, etc.) under the flat heat transfer machine absorbs the ink moisture during the transfer process, which will cause excessive water vapor during the transfer process, resulting in the color of the pattern on the transferred cloth becoming lighter. Or there may be local aerosol or water streak interference, so it can be improved by evaporating the moisture on the pad cotton cloth before and during the transfer process. If possible, it should be replaced in time. Dry liner material.
2. The printed pattern and the fabric to be transferred should not be damp as much as possible, otherwise the paper will become soft and wrinkled during transfer, especially the roller press, and stripes will appear on the transferred fabric. Moreover, the transfer rate will be lower, the color of the pattern will not be bright, and the outline of the pattern will melt when it is severe. The color contrast between dry transfer and damp transfer will have chromatic aberration. The more damp the cloth, the more serious the situation. The printed paper (to be transferred) and fabric due to the above factors should be placed in a dry room, and the humidity should be controlled below 60%.
3. The transfer paper is transferred under the flat press, and sometimes ghosting occurs. The reason is that the transfer paper is relatively flat during thermal transfer, and it will not be bent immediately when heated under the press, and the paper and fabric can be flattened. . At the moment when the hot platen is lifted during thermal transfer, the paper will be adsorbed on the upper platen together with the fabric, and then fall down. At this time, the high-temperature transfer paper falling on the fabric will cause a shifted secondary transfer, forming a light-colored ghost.
In order not to produce ghost images, the following solutions can be taken:
① Reduce the ascent speed. We can adjust the cylinder (or hydraulic cylinder) speed control valve (throttle valve or throttle valve) on the flat heat transfer press, and turn down the valve that controls the lifting of the pressure plate to slow down the lifting speed of the pressure plate. In this way, the paper and cloth are not easy to be sucked up together when the pressure plate is lifted, so that the problem of ghosting caused by the secondary transfer can be avoided. ② The four corners are dipped in water. If the transfer paper is smaller than the fabric, you can apply a little water (a small dot, ≤0.5 square centimeters) to the 4 corners of the transfer paper without printing patterns, and then cover the fabric for transfer. Adhesion, after transfer, there will be no misalignment with the fabric to produce secondary transfer ghost images. After the transfer, if there is a burnt yellow in the place where water is applied to the fabric, it can be wiped off with water.
③ Covering method. If the transfer paper is larger than the fabric and can cover the surface of the fabric, then the paper and fabric will generally not be sucked up by the hot pressing plate. This is because the physical reason for being sucked up is the electrostatic effect of the fabric. When the paper covers the fabric, the fabric is blocked. Because of the electrostatic effect on the surface, the secondary transfer will not be sucked up and down.
④ Use special adhesive transfer paper. The best way to avoid ghosting is to use special adhesive transfer paper. The adhesive transfer paper will be pasted with the fabric during transfer, so that no matter how the paper and fabric are sucked up and down, the paper and fabric are always attached. Together, the possibility of shifting and ghosting is eliminated. The use of adhesive paper can greatly improve the convenience of operation and the pass rate of mass production. Sublimation transfer paper suitable for use: Sublimation transfer paper requires heat Sublimation ink, sublimation ink (also known as thermal transfer ink) is to make low-energy, easily sublimable disperse dyes into digital printing ink, and print it on the sublimation transfer paper. By heating, the image can be transferred in the shortest time. Produced on exquisite porcelain, metal, silk, chemical fiber fabrics and other materials, it is very suitable for the market needs of individualized development and the requirements of environmental protection.
