Parameters of transfer paper from various countries; Dutch thermal sublimation transfer paper; gram weight 70g, double-sided coating, color transfer rate more than 95%, price about four yuan per square meter, Korean thermal sublimation transfer paper: gram weight 100g and 90g, double-sided coating, color transfer rate about 95%, price about three yuan per square meter, domestic thermal sublimation transfer paper: gram weight 80g/100g/110g/120g, double-sided and single-sided coating, color transfer rate about 95%, The price is about two yuan per square. Common problems and solutions in transfer:

1. The padding material (cotton cloth, sponge, cardboard, etc.) under the flatbed thermal transfer machine absorbs the ink moisture during the transfer process, which will cause excessive water vapor during the transfer, causing the color of the pattern on the transferred cloth to fade or local fog or water-like interference to appear. Therefore, regular hot pressing before and during the transfer process can improve the situation by evaporating the moisture on the padding cotton cloth. If conditions permit, the dry padding material should be replaced in time.

2. Try not to let the printed pattern and the cloth to be transferred get damp, otherwise, during the transfer, especially the roller press, it is easy to make the paper soft and wrinkled, and stripes will appear on the cloth after the transfer. In addition, the transfer rate will become lower, the color of the pattern will not be bright, and in severe cases, the outline of the pattern will melt. There will be color difference between the color contrast of the dry transfer and the damp transfer cloth, and the more damp it is, the more serious the situation will be. Due to the above factors, the printed paper (to be transferred) and cloth should be placed in a dry room, and the humidity should be controlled below 60%.

3. When the transfer paper is transferred under the flat press, sometimes there will be ghosting. The reason is that the transfer paper is relatively flat during thermal transfer, and it will not bend immediately when heated under the press, so the paper and the fabric can be flat. When the hot press plate is lifted during thermal transfer, the paper will be adsorbed on the upper press plate together with the fabric, and then fall down. At this time, the high-temperature transfer paper will fall on the fabric and produce a shifted secondary transfer, forming a very light color ghost.

In order to avoid ghosting, the following solutions can be adopted:

① Reduce the rising speed. We can adjust the speed regulating valve (throttle valve or throttle valve) of the cylinder (or hydraulic cylinder) on the flat thermal transfer press, and close the valve that controls the lifting of the press plate a little bit, so that the speed of lifting the press plate will be slower, so that when the press plate is lifted, the paper and the fabric will not be easily sucked up together, so as to avoid the problem of ghosting caused by falling and secondary transfer.

② Four-corner water dipping method. If the transfer paper is smaller than the fabric, you can apply a little water (a small dot, ≤0.5 square centimeters) to the four corners of the transfer paper where there is no printed pattern, and then cover it on the fabric for transfer. During the transfer, the place where the water is dipped will adhere to the fabric, and after the transfer, it will not be misaligned with the fabric to produce a double image of the secondary transfer. If the place where the water is applied on the fabric is burnt yellow after the transfer, it can be wiped off with clean water.
③ Covering method. If the transfer paper is larger than the fabric and can cover the surface of the fabric, then the paper and fabric will generally not be sucked up by the hot press plate. This is because the physical reason for being sucked up is the static electricity of the fabric. When the paper covers the fabric, the static electricity on the fabric is cut off, and it will not be sucked up and fall off for secondary transfer.
④ Use special adhesive transfer paper. The best way to avoid ghosting is to use special sticky transfer paper. The sticky transfer paper will stick to the fabric during transfer. In this way, no matter how the paper and fabric are sucked up and dropped, the paper and fabric will always stick together, eliminating the possibility of ghosting caused by displacement. The use of sticky paper can greatly improve the convenience of operation and the qualified rate of mass production.

Ink suitable for sublimation transfer paper: Sublimation transfer paper needs to use sublimation ink. Sublimation ink (also known as thermal transfer ink) is to make low-energy, easy-to-sublimate disperse dyes into digital printing ink, which is printed on sublimation transfer paper. By heating, the image can be made into exquisite porcelain, metal, silk, chemical fiber fabrics and other materials in the shortest time, which is very suitable for the market needs and environmental protection requirements of personalized development. Sublimation transfer paper is suitable for: cloth, leather, metal, wood, ceramics, glass, plexiglass, PVC sheet, etc.

Features: The transferred image is colorful and rich in layers, and its effect is comparable to that of printing. The difference is that thermal transfer ink is heated and sublimated at high temperature, penetrates into the surface of the medium, and then the image is formed after condensation. Therefore, no film will be formed on the surface of the medium, and the image will not fall off or crack, and it has strong light resistance and will not fade for a long time.
