The Difference Between Inkjet Paper And Sublimation Paper

Oct 23, 2021

1. Due to the strong adsorption of inkjet paper to ink, there is more ink remaining on the inkjet paper during transfer, and the transfer rate is less than 80%, while the sublimation transfer paper can reach more than 95%. With the same effect, inkjet paper needs to pay more than 15% of the amount of ink. Normally, printing an A4 pattern with sublimation transfer paper requires an ink cost of 0.7 yuan, and inkjet paper requires an ink cost of 0.8 yuan. The price of a piece of paper is 0.14 yuan, and the color inkjet paper is 0.09 yuan. It can be calculated that the cost of using color inkjet paper is 0.05 yuan.

2. Since the ink transfer rate of using color inkjet paper is less than 80%, the color compensation through software will cause color deviation and poor transfer effect.
